Obscene speech is no longer taboo in the office. Sometimes they add charisma of the leader and help him find a common language with their subordinates, experts say.
The rule stating that a polite attitude towards colleagues helps build a career faster, hopelessly out of date. Most companies prefer that their leaders were charismatic, but not conservative.
In the right place at the right time swear words can be very useful, says Jeffrey Cohn, an expert on successful leadership, in an interview for the Wall Street Journal.
"The use of such language can play in your favor. But only if you also know how to show compassion to subordinates, and generally well-versed in the business" - says D.Kon.
"To urge that the language is occasionally. But it can really be effective," - says Brent Schwan, vice president of Schwan Food Co.
Schwan every day talking to truck drivers and says that they love, when he was swearing. So they feel that they are with him on one level.
At the same time a foul vocabulary is still not necessary to resort to women, because to them by colleagues and subordinates try on higher standards, says Dee Soder, a partner at consulting firm CEO Perspective Group.
