In a study center at Johns Heldricha Rutgers University, surveyed 444 graduates who received diplomas during the global economic crisis.
Only 51% of respondents said that they were able to find a job full-time, another 20% were in graduate school. At the same time 12% of respondents said they are working less than 8 hours a day, and 11% could not find a job.
"Graduates today are uncertain about their future. Only one in five believes that his generation will be more successful than the previous one. More than half of respondents believe that they are destined to a bleak future than older graduates," - said the study's authors.
The average starting salary of respondents was 28,000 dollars, which is $ 3,000 lower than the pre-crisis alumni.
