Named the most expensive EU country


In 2011, prices in some EU countries, all different in almost two-fold. At the same time the cheapest goods and services were in Bulgaria, the most expensive - in Denmark.

Ranking of countries with the highest prices, compiled by statistical agency Eurostat, led by Denmark, where they were 42% higher than the European average. After it has settled Sweden (25%), Finland (25%) and Luxembourg (22%).
The list of countries where prices are 10-20% higher than in the EU were: Ireland (17%), Belgium (12%) and France (11%). While in the Netherlands (8%), Austria (7%), Germany, Italy (both - 3%) and UK (2%) goods and services cost no more than 10% higher than the European average.
The lowest prices were recorded in Bulgaria (55% lower than the EU average), Poland (- 60%), Romania (- 60%), Hungary (- 64%) and Lithuania (-66%).
